crocheting with polar fleece

Recommended Posts

I have sewn lots of things with fleece, but I have never thought of crocheting with it. The link shows a knitted hat, but it could easily be converted to crocheting. It would be so soft and warm....and great for sewers like me who have lots of scraps hanging around.

That's a neat idea! I think I may try that! I have a ton of leftover fleece so it would be interesting!

looks great! I know you can do that with old t shirts too, maybe its a good way to recycle old fleece clothes.( I make applications with fleece, its hold better when you wash it instaid of filt here is on http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Foto=VM7V8NC4 )

I'm gonna try to crochet it to now. thanks! :hook

I had seen a sample of something crocheted from fleece @ my local Joann's - I think it was a scarf-or a potholder or something. I can't remember. Anyway, I do remember that it was sc back & forth AND all the ends stuck out-I thought it looked pretty neat...hmmm, I feel a new project coming on!
