I'm working on that blanket right now! I had to put it aside this week to finish some Christmas stuff, but will pick it back up probably next week, lol! That was designed by one of the forum moderators here (Deneen), I wanted to tell her that I was making it for my new nephew that is due in May. I love the pattern, mine doesn't lay flat like the one in the pic, so it looks like popcorn stitching, love it! I'm using Bernat Softee Baby in two blue colors, and a L hook. I'll definitely post a picture when it is done, in a few weeks, thanks for having this crochet-along! :hook

I'm getting a little brother in March! I might make the blanket for him, but one of my friends is getting a little brother, and I might make it for him. Maybe I'll have time to make two. :hook

I made one of Deneen's blankets for Project Linus this fall, and it cam eout great--super fast and thick and warm! I'd love to make another to donate, but can't start until after Christmas because I'm working on my last gift right now (Dot's Elegant Lace Stole for my friend M). But then, I'm in!

Kagome, where are you moving to in AZ? Patty in Tucson

That sounds like a great idea...I have some pound of love I can use already stashed and ready...hehe. I don't have a recipient in mind yet, but my friends always seem to be popping out kids...lol. So someone will come along.

Are we going to have a button for this CAL?

Well, this is what I came up with for a button.

Anyone who likes it is free to use it. Direct linking is ok. I'll even provide the code for you:

I just saw this. I started that same blanket a couple of days ago. I haven't done to much on it because I'm still trying to get caught up for Christmas stuff. But I'd love to join the CAL. We'll be away after Christmas to New Year's, but I plan to take my laptop with me. I also plan to work on... and hopefully finish... the blanket while we're away.

I am sort of new here... what is the button for?:think

A button is something you can put on your blog or webpage to show that you are a participant. I have mine on my blog with a little status bar next to it so people can see how I'm doing on my projects :)

I started mine today! I'm annoying myself a little because I'm working from both ends of the same skein. But even so it looks like this is a cute blanket and it's going to work up quickly :)
