Carnival wreath

When it's after Christmas and it's not spring yet, there's Carnival! So my new wreath with gingerbread and donuts is for that "in-between season"

Its absolutely lovely!! What is carnival? I never heard of it.

I believe it is the same celebration as 'Mardi Gras', the celebration before Lent.
