velvety legwarmers pattern

I finally gave up on finding legwarmer patterns and made my own simple pattern! I'll have better pictures up when my mom models them tonight

Lynn, thanks for the legwarmer pattern, I want to make a pair for my sister for christmas.........she used to wear them all the time years ago, I'm sure she'll love them.

My daugher insisted on wearing a dress and tights today even though it's pretty chilly. I was worried about her little legs, so I sent her with pants and socks, but now I'll make her up a couple pairs of those for next time. Thanks a bunch!

I replaced the picture with one of me wearing it for a better idea of how it looks for those that were interested in pictures I'll be finishing the second one today and will have the exact amount of yarn necessary. It looks like it'll be really close to finish it with one skein, but we'll see!

Thanks, Great idea! I wish I had this pattern last year...we HAD to wear skirts with nylons to work. Near about froze my legs off unless I wore pants underneath...NOT a pretty site. These would have been great!
