Blue Roses for Christmas

My dear friend considered a sister, Janet, passed away in March of this year.  This is how I mourn; I crochet.  I made purses for my girlfriends a few years ago.  Janet picked the blue one, blue is her color.  I took what was left of the sparkly blue thread and made a rose and then another rose, etc.  So far I have 11 roses completed and a few more to go.  All of our group of friends, her sisters, mother, daughters, son and husand will get a blue rose Christmas ornament.

I'm so, so sorry for your loss.  My best friend is like my sister too, and I would be devastated if she passed.  I cannot fathom the pain you are going through.  I'm glad crochet is an outlet for you.  Janet's blue roses are going to be the best Christmas present for everyone
