Last night my daughter came in and asked for yarn and a hook. She wanted to make a blanket to go in a bed for her stuffed bunny. (she is 15 and it was a gift from her boyfriend.)

Well my proud moment came while I was making dinner. I called to her to ask her to help me with something and she said "Hold on a minute, let me finish this row" My baby is an official crocheter!

I don't know why but her saying that made me soooo HAPPY!

That is really great. You and your daughter will be able to create many happy memories with your shared love of crochet. My mother and oldest sister taught me how to crochet. They are both gone now but I have many happy memories of the times we shared crocheting.
