love knot shrug

posted my love knot shawl on FB, one of my friends saw it and was wondering if she could find a shrug pattern using the stitch, she did http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=35101.10; and shared it with me, this is what I made. It's a shrug for my niece for Christmas, it's big but that way she can wear it longer, it'll be long sleeve (3/4 sleeve) for now but the arm openings are big enough she should be able to wear it for a few years

I love it! My sister moved about a month ago back to CA from AZ. Her two daughters are enjoying the cooler weather. The older one is in 9th grade and wears shrugs. I mean she just loves them. I never would have known if my sister were still in AZ. Now I have the perfect project to make for her, and, what's better, it's quick to make. The thing now is sneaking a T-shirt away to gauge for size. lol. Thanks so much for sharing!
