Well, I fell down yesterday while taking out the trash. I got snow on my shoes. When I came back in the house, I left a little water on the floor. I made another trip outside and slipped on the water. I have a step down from the kitchen to the back door/basement. I fell in there. I hit my back on the step. You should see the bruise! I cut my knee, bruised my elbow and twisted an ankle. I don't know how I managed to fall the way I did. I'm sore, but thankfully, my right arm/hand is perfectly fine. There will be crocheting and Christmas present wrapping in my future! :yes

I LOVE to read - always have - so even though Hubby doesn't understand the fascination...or my love of gadgets... he got me my Nook a few months ago. I've been sooooo happy ever since.:c9

I have 2 hats done and a 3rd started. I didn't get any crocheting done yesterday, my daughter and I had to take my grandson to the ER straight from church because the congestion from the cold he has was making it difficult for him to breathe. He stayed overnight and I'm home with his big sister waiting to hear from my daughter.

Oh, no! I hope he's okay. :hug :hug

Take it easy and rest up if you can. :hug

I haven't done any crocheting in the past couple of days. I woke up yesterday with a toothache and have an appointment this afternoon. :( I have a feeling my charity weekend is pretty much over, but we'll see. I'll post my results tomorrow morning.

Do not think I'll be able to do much today. I did get the baby afghan done.

Yarn for hats and afghan were from a RAOK gift. Scarf from yarn leftover from cowl.

Totals:

3 baby hats

1 preemie afghan

1 scarf

Sure hope everyone is feeling better today. Trips to the ER and falls are no fun whenever they happen. Best wishes!

I'm gonna go ahead and post my totals since I can't see me getting any more done.

2 HAP rectangles

1 baby RR (was a WIP)

I will have to wait until tomorrow to take pics. DH needs the camera for work and has it in the car already so he doesn't forget it. Tomorrow is going to be a big day at the National Guard armory where he works. There are 3 busses coming home after the long journey from Iraq, where the soldiers have been for the past year. (DH actually belongs to a different unit that didn't go to Iraq this time, but he volunteered to work for them, stateside, to provide support while they were gone.) He has been super busy the past couple of days coordinating with the the Shreveport Police Department and Louisiana State police to have them escorted from the Mississippi state line. That's about a 4 hour drive. Also, he has arranged with the Shreveport Fire Department to have two ladder trucks with a huge American flag to be suspended over the entrance to the armory. I'm so proud of him for taking on all the extra time and energy to see that these soldiers are welcomed home properly. :manyheart

Well I am sorry to be the one who wanted to start early and then disappear. Mom went to the hopital on Friday night with a brain bleed due to her blood disorder. She was moved from Neuro ICU to Neuro Rehab yesterday. We'll be spending Chirstmas at the hospital. She can't walk or use her right hand much, which is too bad because she likes to crochet too. She alternates between bored, mad and depressed.

See you next month.

Babypoohsmom...so sorry to hear your mother is not well and sending prayers for good care and recovery. I know she will appreciate your being there with her and your support. My DD just went through this with her future MIL who was also an avid crocheter/knitter.
