My mom's Cape

I have crocheted a cape for my mom.

But i have yet to finish the last thing- the fastener?

 

Should i get a pin ? or crochet a nice red rose to complement this piece?

For a shawl I made last year, I did not have enough time to make a shawl- pin out of Fimo clay so off to the beauty supply store I went. I bought one of the hair decorations that hold up long hair with a stick that goes thru it. I found one in a appropriate color and the shape of a circle. I crocheted around it with the same yarn as the shawl. The stick still had plenty of room to hold up in the middle without any trouble.
