Hats turned into pouches

I have a box full of small items I plan on finishing one day. Yesterday I finally opened it (I really haven't touched it for a while...), and decided to get rid of some of the items. I found four hats-to-be (didn't have enough yarn, wanted to make a cool edging, but didn't seem to get around to it), and decided to make them into small pouches! I think they turned out cute, and it's soooo good to have a little less projects in that box.

What a wonderful idea!!! As one of my kids just graduated high school and has moved from home and the other is in his second year of college so only is home part of the year I get shall I say melancholy. Now I can use your idea but on some of their old hats and make them into carrying pouches for some of my small projects. I'll have the items that spark a memory but it will be a useful item.

Those are darling! I'm making hats for a few kids for Christmas. I bet I could thread some ribbon through and also use them as wrapping bags for other small gifts! I love multi-purpose!
