How is it decided which weekend to do it?

 

That I don't know....I picked the third weekend in July because it was the third weekend last month. Also, I wanted to give everyone about two weeks notice.

Next month it is def going to be a lapghan... They are just so neat to make.

I think the weekend is determined by the host, but it has traditionally been the third weekend most of the time this has been going on, except when it runs into a major holiday and sometimes even then. I think that gives everyone time to get settled into the month and yet isn't so late that it runs over into the next month. I don't know that there were ever any specific rules laid out. Not that I saw anyway.
