5 bright colors of yarn and a teeny bit of white for eyes or variegated yarn and a teeny scrap of white

 

G Hook

 

 

 

Ch 2 , 12 Sc in second ch from hook

 

Mark rounds

 

(1) Sc ar

 

(2) 2 sc in first, sc in next rep ar

 

(3) 2 sc in first, Sc in next 2 rep ar

 

(4) 2 sc in first, sc in next 3 rep ar

 

(5) Sc ar switch to hot pink at end of last rw

 

(6-8) Sc ar switch to lilac at end of last rw

 

(9-11) Sc ar switch to orange at end of last rw

 

(12) Decrease, sc in next 4 rep ar

 

(13) Decrease, sc in next 3 rep ar

 

(14) Decrease, sc in next 2 rep ar switch to light pink

 

(15-17) Sc ar switch to green at end of last rw

 

Start Stuffing

 

(18) Sc ar

 

(19) Decrease, Sc in next 3 rep ar

 

(20-23) Sc ar

 

(24) Do this rw in back loops only Sc ar slip stich to first sc Fasten off green

 

(25) Do this rw in skipped loops of last rw Join white w slip st *sc in same stitch Ch 4 sc in next st* rep from 8 to * ar

 

(26) Join w slip st to ch 4 loop sc in same stitch Ch 2 sc in same st* sc in next st ch 2 sc in same stitch * rep from * to * ar

 

join to first w slip st fasten off

 

Legs make 8

 

Ch 2 , 8 sc in second ch fr hook (8 sc)

 

Mark rounds

 

(1-15) Sc ar at end of last rw slip st to first st

 

(16) Ch 6 slip st to next rep ar should end with 8 ch 6 loops slip st to first slip st fasten off

 

Sew legs to bottom of body

 

Finish Stuffing body

 

W / green Ch 2 , 8sc in second ch fr hook

 

(1) 2 sc in each ar slip st to first sc fasten off sew this to bottom of body

 

Eyes make 2

 

W / white Ch 2 , 8sc in second ch from hook slip st to first fasten off sew to head then stich another color in the white eye

Alisha, you're a life saver!! My future DIL had seen an octopus pattern in one of my old Workbaskets I was giving away and I forgot to pull it out for her. The guilt has been killing me! Olga is so much cuter, even. I printed it and I'm sending it to her right away. I so enjoy other people's creativity since I have none. THANKS!

I just love these different and unique kind of patterns! My grandson will love this!!! Now...what color to make? lol Thank you for sharing!!
