Hi and thanks for the kind remarks - I will post a picture of the afghan when I'm done - I have 12, 12" squares, just need to get to 16 and then I'll start putting them together. Here's a picture of another one.

Lovely squares so far! How is the afghan coming along?

I do have all of my squares now. I've added a single crochet border around each square because I'm afraid I won't be too good at putting them together and thought that might help. I've been doing other things for gifts (snowman bottle toppers) but I need to get this afghan done. I promise I'll post a picture when it's done! This is the "kick in the butt" I needed!
