This may be a stupid question and I'm not even sure I'm posting this in the right place but here it goes anyways....lol

 

I have never sent squares in the mail befor for comfortghans but was wondering what is the best way to do it and how to package them?!? I want to make sure they are safe!

You can mail them in a small box or an envelope. But I would think a small box would be safer and more protective.

If it's not too many, I usually send them in a bubble envelope. They're not too expensive at Walmart.

I send mine in a bubble envelope and if I feel it is necessary, I add tracking to the package. This way, I know when it is received.

I put mine in a ziplock bag and a manilla envelope. I was really surprised how cheap it is that way.

This is what I usually do too.

I use a manila envelope also. I was in a granny exchange for several years and we determined that this is the cheapest way. You can fold your square in half, or keep them flat if using the larger envelope. I would avoid boxes if possible, because the post office charges much more to mail any box. Envelopes are the way to go!!! Unless, of course, you are mailing a large quantity of squares.

If it's just a square or two, envelopes with bubble wrap or a plastic storage bag and plain manilla envelope are fine. A lot of squares mean you need a box.

I mail what I can in envelopes... and I have found them (both the bubble padded and plain) 2 for $1 at my local dollar store.
