I did this years ago in about 5th or 6th grade. We also made angels out of them. Neither my mom nor I have them though. Too much moving I guess.

Might do a new one with my daughter though.

I remember (Dating myself) using the Sears catalog and making Mr. and Mrs Santa Claus like this ..

 

We would fold the whole catalog, spray paint it red then put a head on top and felt arms and belts, and finally cotton balls for the fuz around the arms hats, etc.. I was just just thinking I wish a company would send me a couple of thick catalogs for just this project LOL

I used to make these years ago with the readers digest magazines...I think it was when I was 7 or 8 which was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back

in the 50's...:lol:lol:lol:eek:rofl

I had so much fun making these as a Campfires girl....

I remember they used to smell like paint because back then who knows what was in spray paint...hehehe Probably why I like them plain now.

I made those in the third grade! I don't know what happened to them. I think my mom ended up throwing them away or something.

 

You gave me a great idea of what to do with the kids this year!
