baby blanket

Well, I felt the need to knit something that I knew would come out the right size and shape, so for the past 2 weeks I've been knitting this baby blanket. Yea, I'm a slow knitter! Anyway, since I knit differently, I thought this would help me get right-slant and left-slant stitches down, so that I don't have to think about them. I got to practice them, even if I'm still so new at this I'll have to write on a pattern what I have to do in my combined/Russian knitting way. It's maybe not exciting, but I am proud of it. Two weeks!! I haven't even thought about makeing a blanket because I didn't want to spend months making it.
