Spring Slippers

I just finished some spring slippers. The pattern is the Turkish slippers in Erica Knight's book. I made them with Sugar n Cream yarn and I love them!!! They are not too warm, perfect for cool spring mornings and evenings. Thanks for looking:)

Maybe this is just my klutzy behind, but do you find your crocheted slippers to be a bit slick? Everytime I wear a pair I made into the kitchen or bathroom (linoleum) I slip. Is there anything to put on the bottoms that would help this problem?? Because if there's an opportunity to hurt myself, I probably will, but I love crocheted slippers!

I haven't slipped (yet). I think that the cotton yarn I used has enough grip. I could see how maybe in acrylic it would be pretty slippery.

I stole my daughters fabric paint and did a little design on the bottom of a pair i made. I think I found that sugestion in the slipper/sock CAL

My grandmother uses some sort of spray on rubber or something. I will try to remember to ask her what it is called.
