French crochet site

A long while ago, I saw a French crochet site while surfing the net. It had pictures of what has to be THE most beautiful crocheted tops I've ever seen. I think the lady who was making these tops was modelling them herself.

How like me to not bookmark the site then and there :(

I've spent hours on the net looking for that site , but havent found it so far.

Has anyone here seen / heard of it?

Well, go to Google home page. Then just to the right of the search box you'll see "language tools"...click on that...then down the page a bit is a box where you put in the URL for the site...then a drop down menu of languages to translate "from" - "to".....

check it out. It's way cool.

:cheer Thank you, thank you. Two thank you's ..... One for the request and the posting of such a great French site and another for posting the google translating tools. Here are two more links to French sites. Gotta love Google!:clap

I have attempted to use the second link and have been redirected to a site that does not interest me. I hope others have not had a problem. If so it is/was not my intention to provide a site other than French crochet.

Sincerely,

Gloria

I went to this site, and...interesting! All the patterns are the exact patterns and pictures that are in some of the most recent Polish magazines I've bought (which I know are translations from other European mags). In fact, three of them are projects I would definitely make! I wonder if this French woman is the designer? Surely she wouldn't post those pictures/patterns on her site if not?

Anyway, that gives you a good idea of the nice thread magazines I like to buy every month!

Actually, I realized at some point that the site I was looking at was Portuguese. I clicked on one of the links and went here:

http://www.falandodecrochet.blogspot.com/

The page is super-long and image HEAVY, but it was some of the funnest crochet eye-candy I've seen in a long time (no patterns)--the site owner is either featuring crochet items or is a designer--I suspect the latter. I saw magazine pages in both Polish and Russian, as well as a Lion brand leaflet.

It's worth scrolling all the way to the end...there are loads of things to see, some of which were fabulous and some of which literally made me laugh out loud--like a couch pillow with holes to stick your feet into to keep them warm.

Gorgeous afghans, cute hook cases, just lots of fun stuff to see!

Ooooh, that WAS fun eye candy!!!! I was drooling over a couple things...the pineapple parasol.....those hats were just awesome. I wish I could crochet from charts!!

Thanks so much for the link. I love looking at stuff like that!

I wish I could have seen it! The site is so image-heavy that my computer had a seizure. Luckily I didn't get caught in a boot loop (she's a computer with attitude).

Perhaps I'll try again later - on my office computer. Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha! :devil
