A few bookmarks I made to put in my Christmas cards

 

 

I really love this pattern! I got it HERE after looking at bookmark links from crochet pattern central.

Very nice Chelle! They remind me of the old Mile-A-Minute afghans... are they somewhat like that?

Yep, I do believe that's what they are! They are called MAM bookmarks, so I guess that stands for mile a minute bookmarks!

I read somewhere recently that you can make a thread bookmark out of pretty much any mile-a-minute afghan pattern by doing the panel in thread instead of yarn. Haven't tested it out yet, but I've collected a couple of MAM patterns since then that look like they'd make a pretty bookmark...

I have a few MAM patterns in books and a leaflet, too - I never thought to use them in thread. I bet I could make a lovely table runner from the one I made my MIL's Christmas present from!
