FO--cabled scarf!

Inspired by the recent cold snap in the great state of Texas, I crocheted my first ever scarf. The pattern is from the December/January issue of Crochet Today magazine. I did it in Lion Brand Wool-ease. Anyway, thanks for looking!

Your scarf looks great. I, too, saw this pattern and had to try it. I made several for friends and they all loved them. I think they look the best in a light color - like yours. I used a couple of light tweeds that came out very nice but the one I did in red did not show off the cable very well.

Great job, I think the cables are pretty cute, and that is nice that you can crochet even while in Texas!!! I lived in Corpus Christi for quite a while and I know that I missed crocheting warm items while I was there!

It looks good. I was inspired by the Texas Chill as well. I made hats for my boys. It was the first time I have made anything to wear.
