Stargazer capelet

It taught me a few new stitches that had previously scared me!

 

 

I'm currently working on my first afghan (pattern found on a skein).

And last week I won my first two e-bay auctions, both for yarn.

 

A good week then!

The second yarn I won on ebay is some sort of pink, white and purple 'bamboo' yarn (threaded and spun with gold cord or something) and looks FANTASTIC! When I saw the circle jacket in another thread, I immediately decided to try it out. I only have 8 skeins, so I'd have to find some yarn to fit with it, but I'm sure that can be worked out!!

 

The capelet was extremely satisfying to complete. I was thinking of eventually making a longer one, and not in the round, and adding a hoodie to it, or a scarfed hoodie. And I'm just wishing I had more time, more money and more yarn!
