A shrug and shawl for me

I finally completed a few things for myself.

 

I did the brown shrug in TLC essentials and the shawl is the hot-shawl-colate pattern available here and I used a wonderful mohair blend that I picked up from ebay.

it's not my pattern but it does belong to someone here at crochetville. It is called the hot-shawlcolate (hope I spelled it right).

I didn't use 2 strands together, but the yarn I used was spun with 2 different yarns so I didn't add another.
