Dec 2006 Crochet World

[Tampa Doll]

Got my copy of Crochet World December 2006 today. I am really enjoying it. For those of us who like novelity items and doll clothes this is the issue for you.

There are 6 patterns for Barbie and 2 for the 18 inch or American Girl dolls.

There is a pj bag for girls and bags for girls and babies.

There are some Christmas patterns and a few scarfs, caplets and shaws.

The one pattern that had me laughing and smiling is a penquin made from sports weight yarn and fun fur. He is one very fuzzy friend.

I may just have to get that one, thanks for the 'heads-up'! I love dolls/toys. Haven't seen this issue in my grocery store yet, but we're going to the Mall today, so will check the bookstore there. I got a 'lump sum' payment at work when our contract went through, so I feel I can spend a little extra today!

I used to love Old Time Crochet because my favourite things to make are doilies;I also used to buy Crochet Fantasy, before they changed it - I don't buy any magazines these days as they don't seem to include patterns that would interest me on a regular basis.
