Beautiful Potholder

Awesome!! I made this potholder for my mom. I took it from a book call Kitchen Decor. It suppose to be a dishcloth but I prefer it to be a potholder. I did it today and finish it yayaya:clap .

Oh my!! It a old yarn that I brought a long long time ago. I don't the name just it acrylic yard.

It is very colourful! I think the lack of white on one side is a good idea as they can get grubby. Did you put any wadding between the 2 layers?

Very nice job. I like the white on one side and no white on the other...gives it a bit of variety.

Yes, I put plastic canvas between them. Too bad I only had enough for one maybe I go buy some more white thick yard. Thanks for the comments.

Very pretty... but did you know that it could only be used as a decorative item? (I didn't even know about this before I joined this forum.) Acrylic will melt if it gets too hot, but cotton actually absorbs the heat.

 

But like I said, it's gorgeous!
