Mice & Tiny Bear

Hi!

I've been a member of C'ville for sometime now but this is my first project post - sorry the focus is a bit off...

 

Of Kristie's little mouse pattern (thank you very much for sharing the pattern - so easy to follow ) - I made several mice using different yarns hence the size difference. I did not put in a contrasting ear color in the white mouse though. I hope to make more of these with different yarn colors...

 

I also made the Tiny Bear from Lion's pattern - it came up a bit small - less than 4 inches. I thought I'd use a wooden Sumo top for comparison when I took the photo - doesn't seem to help though... oh well...

How do you work something that small? I made a toy once and it was much larger. I got so frustrated with the tininess of everything that I never finished it! Your bear is great and the mice also.
