Crochet Flower Opinion

I need opinions. Should I design a pillow edge with this type of flower or a doily? I kinda like the color but I am not sure if others would.? I could go with a doily and make some butterflies to go with it or the pillow trim in an irish crochet style. You choose and I will make and post.

That is really cute!! It would go perfectly in my dd's room (not that you asked that, lol) - I think a pillow edging would be neat. Not your everyday pattern.

 

I'm sure an irish crochet edging would be gorgeous though too ... you do beautiful work.

I also like the idea of a floral edge to a pillow sham. Sounds really cheerful. Keep us posted on what you decide to do.

It's really lovely, and both ideas would work, but for me I like the pillow idea. The colours are beautiful.

I really love it. :manyheart:manyheart Of course, I am a bit biased. Purple is my favorite color. I love the flower too. I think it would be neat as a trim for a pillow. I would love it for my bedroom. (of course that's all purple too. )

I'm going to be the odd ball and say it would look fabulous with butterflies on a doily. Of course, there's nothing wrong with pillow trim.

Thanks everyone. These flowers are much easier than the daisies. I do like the daisies better but they kill my wrist. I think I have the look of them down pat. Now to get a flower book and really go to town. I have too many projects going and not enough time. Seems like there is always something to do.

That is such a beautiful motif. A pillow cover edging would be perfect! may be a small doily with those motifs on the bedside table will look good too.
