Amigurumi (Beginner)

I know that Ravelry has some really easy patterns for beginners. Or at least, so I'm told. I look at them and can't make heads or tails of them - even the actual heads and tails!

The best I can do is freestyle a rough carrot. The only reason it works so well is because my reductions ended up looking like natural imperfections in an actual carrot. (I'm not a fan of the skipping stitches style of reducing stitches.)
