Some scarves

Recommended Posts

These are some scarves made using the Caron Cakes, and a ripple/chevron pattern.  I know some of you don't like the sudden color changes of the Caron Cakes.  For the ripple pattern, I kind of like the blocks of color.

Wow they are so cool.  I wish I could use the Caron cakes, I have to use the ones from Joann's.  The Caron have wool in them.

I do love the way the color changed in them.

They are cool looking!  I like the ones with the color block better than the stripes.  My fav is the one in the bottom left corner.

Mary Jo:  Are you allergic to wool?  Our president of our local CGOA chapter is so allergic that she can't even sit near someone at yarn group that is working with wool.  The regulars don't bring wool projects to yarn group or sit way at a separate table and warn her.

I like the Chevron style scarves too- very pretty. I don't have access to Caron Cakes, so I'm not sure, but maybe, if you crocheted on the width instead of the length of the pattern, it would show more ease on the color transition.
