Baby boy blanket and hat

So I had less than a week to get a hat and car seat blanket done for my mom, who wanted to give it to a family member who is going to pop at the end of the month. Well, I gave myself the deadline. Mom was going to Florida for a week, and she stopped here on her way down. That was on the 3rd. I got the hat done in about 20 minutes, and I had to buy the yarn as I went because I didn't know how big I wanted to make the blanket, plus I was a little short on cash til she got back here. Anyway, I put the final stitches in the blanket at around 1pm today. Here are the finished products!!!

Thanks everyone!!! I knocked it out quickly. It would have been done sooner, but I didn't know exactly how much yarn I was going to need. Anyway, off to the next project. Mother wants a new scarf!
