I know Jimbo started a post here not too long ago on a similar tool from K-Tel or somewhere from decades ago, but I'm not finding it.  Guess what, it's baaaack!

Edit-I found Jimbo's thread here - the older one is a little more sophisticated, it has a tension ring.

While it does look interesting, it is also not for me. Looks like it may take longer to crochet and since I am a fast crocheter, that would slow me down.
