I made my first shawl! All it took was participating in a shawl swap to get me going. My swap partner was hoping for this shawl, and I decided to give it a try. I somehow always end up mixing colors. I'll have to try a solid next. I did modify the bottom edge so that it wouldn't get so long. I wish I had thought to straighten out the bottom so it could be seen. Oh, well. If my swap partner posts the picture, hopefully she'll think of it. It was a fun project. It's made with Caron SS. It's so warm and cuddly that I am thinking of making one for myself. The Butterfly Wing Shawl was designed by one of our own, HollyM. Thanks, Holly :)

Thanks! I just saved a new shawl pattern. Yes, the addiction has begun. I'm glad my partner liked her shawl. Even using colors that someone likes, one never knows if your combo will be liked, but I'm glad it all worked out. Now I have to somehow make time to make another one for my SIL, lol.
