  1. Wow even more squares!! Thank u to all who have sent them I am super excited to see it begin to grow! My appt went well, I'm very roughly due on March 30th. Here's a pic of all my g. Squares so far. Thanks again!!! Ill be sending out more of my own very soon
  2. Good morning all. Many thanks to Brenda for my amazing package!!! I'm doing well, my first prenatal appt is this Friday. My ultrasound is the Thursday after. College is going well and while work is a little more exhausting than usual it's okay too. ;p
  3. Its been a very busy week!! I'm having to play phone tag with two dentists offices and my family doctor to be able to set up an emergency root canal, its so frustrating! Time is kind of of the essence as I found out as of Thursday that I am pregnant! We've been trying for a year and we finally succeeded. This will be our first. My first prenatal and ultrasound are coming up soon. Cravings have set in, no morning sickness thank goddess, but I do feel generally kind of "meh". Extreme fatigue is the worst symptom for me, I just want to sleep!!! My mama is very happy, to say the least, and we've told select few others as it is so early. Needless to say, I sadly haven't been able to crochet as much as I have been so busy making appointments, working on school, being at work, and sleeping as much as I can. Hopefully I can get back to it soon. Thank you for making me Queen this month, I am very surprised and delighted!!! Have an awesome day!!
  4. Here's my very first slipper!! I'm thankful I have two feet but, jeez, now I have to make another slipper so my other foot isnt so jealous. It's going to be in a different color tho bc I mismatch my socks and therefore will mismatch my slippers.
  5. Found a simple pattern for mary-jane slippers that I'm gonna try after finishing jjs blanket. Finished my infinity Swarthmore from the leftovers of my blanket. Pics soon.
  6. Well already I am well into my treble crochet rows so the ripple will have to wait but thanks to everyone for all ur advice I am willing to try it again its always been one of my favorite looks. The husband says his Afghan will be better than mine BC I let it slip that I envied his color choices lol. Not too much going on otherwise.

  8. Tried a ripple pattern twice now and can't get the hang of it. Maybe ill try again after work. If not ill do a boring treble stitch in a stripe pattern. my husband is really kinda of blah about it all but I'm being picky.
  9. I was thinking of trying a ripple Afghan for my husband. I'm impatient for my yarn to get here already lol. I've started losing some weight finally! Hopefully it continues. Spent Saturday w family, Fri was a show. Classes are going well. We get to hang out with some friends Fri that we haven't seen very often, I'm excited!
  10. My husband picked out the colors for his Afghan, the skeins I ordered for it should get here by the 9th. I just wish I could use my bigger hook but he doesn't want big gaps between the yarn so i'll continue w the hook I used for my blanket. He actually chose purple as one of the colors which is awesome. Mom goes to Hershey for more tests on the 11th. Her and dad are going to our campground in the mountains for a few days and jj has two days of shows. Ill go to one of them, have to sacrifice one for college work.
  11. My aunt left a bag of granny squares for me at my moms house! I'm excited! I think that will be my next project....
  12. Completed 1st first blanket!! I improvised the border but am proud of it
  13. My first completed blanket!! I improvised the border myself.
  14. I finished my very first Afghan and one and 3/4 sides of the border! It seems like when I do the border for the length it goes by really fast, but the width is taking a little longer. My husband said "you're over there crocheting feverishly! When did I lose you to crocheting??" (I was on the loveseat, he was on the couch). LOL. he calls it my addiction. I'm just glad its a harmless one, unless you count carpal tunnel flair-ups xD
