Black and gold

made up this pattern http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/in-bloom-beret-and-cap using lion brand glamour and a strand of a sport/baby weight black yarn that I got on special at Ben Franklin..didn't have the wrapper anymore.

 

I had to make adjustments with the double strand. Was probably heavier than ww. I did one less row of bobbles and if I did it again I would do 2 less. My daughter seems to think it's fine. I don't like my hats that far down on my head. Though it may not matter as the hat seems to have walked out on my dd head
