Chunky lace scarf

Hi!!

I found this free pattern (Chunky Lace Scarf by Sherry Ramaila) on ravelry, so I made one with 'I love this Yarn' in black tweed. I made it longer than the pattern called for.

It is about 7ft long and 6 inches wide--a lonnnng skinny scarf.

what do you think?

would this make a good teacher gift??
