Here is the pattern for the roses:

Ch 32, (dc, ch 2, dc) in 4th ch from hook, *ch 2, skip next 2 sts, (dc, ch 2, dc) in next st* across (makes 10 [dc, ch 2, dc] spaces total), dc in remaining ch.

 

Ch 2, turn,*9 dc’s in ch-2 sp, sl st in next ch-2 sp* across (making 10 petals), sl st in final sp leaving a long tail for weaving

 

I sewed the pearl beads on individually to the roses. The hat is just a basic hdc hat with ear flaps

Very Pretty..I have a Q- for the 2 year old how big around was her head? Q2- was the length of the beanie minus the flaps I am trying to make kids hats and not sure how long to make for donating.. (for baby's they say 5.5 inches tall) Thanks
