Nylon Thread Fan Purse

I got the pattern here http://www.simplicity.com/t-free-crochet-project-casual-shoulder-bag.aspx, but instead of yarn, I used nylon thread no.2 with a C hook. It took a while to make but was worth the effort. It was a gift for my mom for her birthday. The colors are purple and black (I made it with 2 strands together.)

That has GOT to be a very strong bag. Nylon is super strong just single stranded!

Absolutely beautiful! I have never used nylon before, I may just have to try that. Purple and black are my favorite colors and they are the colors for my boys, Go Ravens!
