Inspired by the Cover Up Swap

Last night I decided to use some of thepunkrockinchick's generous destash that I won a few weeks ago for a Swiffer cover. Hey, she told me I could use it for anything, and some of those colors are a little hard to make kids' blankets with. Anyway, she may be sorry she gave away acrylic cakes that are the perfect amount of yarn to make one of these covers. I love it! It's adorable, it's fast to make, and yes, it swiffered up the dog hair instantly. I am so excited I'm going to make another one or two tonight. I used Linda Permann's Crocheted Reversible Swiffer Sock on the craftzine blog. Great pattern!

It didn't occur to me that you could use acrylic for that! Duh. It probably works better, because of the static. Very cool, I love it.
