My Seraphina Shawl

Here is my version of the Seraphina Shawl. I did it as a prayer shawl for a woman with Sickle Cell Anemia.

It's really just a matter of learning where the increases are. If you can double crochet and chain or do a shell pattern you can do this pattern. It starts at the nape of the neck and grows bigger. It only increases in 4 places - right after the ch 1 space at the beginning of the row, right before and after the center shell, and right before the chain one space at the end of the row. Once you have achieved the shell pattern you just keep repeating it and increasing only at the increases. It is really easy once you get the pattern down. I encourage everybody to give this pattern a try.
