Knit garter stripe felted purse

Here is my version of the garter striped bag. I found the general directions over at Ravelry. Here is where I found it. (You need to be a member of Ravelry and logged in to see) I used Paton's Classic Merino wool. You have to knit 22 squares, then put them together. I single crocheted them together on this bag using red yarn. I have since made another bag in green and white, but I whip stitched the squares together on that one.

 

 

I had bought a purse at a garage sale and didn't like it. So, I took the handles off of that purse and attached them to this one!
