Will these fit an adult or a child? I've been looking for an easy pattern for adult mittens. :)

I originally made the mittens using my hand to measure. I'm not quite sure what size my hands are, but when the mittens are laid flat, they are about 3.75 inches across in the middle of the mitten. I hope that helps :)
