Bath Poof and Wash cloth

I picked up some cotton yarn at the end of the year sales at Michael's an JoAnns. This was my first time using cotton yarn and it was really fun. I'm kind of disappointed with the bath poof. When it's wet it feels just like a waded up rag and somewhat rough. It wasn't very good for general washing but works okay as a face scrubber. I love the wash cloth though; it feels nice and soft. Oh how pretty! Love the color. I've found the Sugar n' Cream/Peaches & Creme to be kind of rough too. Depends on the pattern. I like it best for dishcloths, potholders, rugs, etc.

I was disappointed in my bath puff too. I think I am going to try it again with a cotton blend type yarn. Seems like that might help with the 100 percent cotton yarns soaking up so much water.

Thanks! I bought the yarn because of the color and then had to figure out what to do with it. I also got one that's yellow, blue and white. DBF wants some pot holders but I'm tempted to just make more wash cloths.
