Give Yourself A Hand! Fridgie

 

Finished size: Approx. 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches

 

Materials:

(US) size F hook, small amount of worsted weight yarn, magnetic tape, whte craft glue. (Example was made using Peaches n Cream cotton yarn in "Fiesta")

 

ch 8

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each of next 5 sts, 2 sc in last st, ch 1, turn.

Row 2: 2 sc in 1st st, sc across to last st, 2 sc in last st, ch 1, turn.

Row 3: rep row 2.

Row 4: sc across to last st, 2 sc in last st, ch 1, turn.

Row 5: sc across, ch 1, turn.

Row 6: rep row 4.

Row 7/Thumb Row 1: sc in 1st st, sc next 2 sts together, ch 1, turn,

Thumb Row 2-4: sc across, ch 1, turn.

Thumb Row 5: sc next 2 sts tog, sl st in end of each thumb row towards where you left off on row 7.

Row 7: Continuing row 7, sc across, ch 1, turn.

Row 8: sc in each of next 10 sc, ch 1, turn.

Row 9: sc across, ch 1, turn.

Row 10: (for pinky) ch 8, hdc in 3rd ch from hook, sc in each remaining ch, sl st in next st on row 9, (for ring finger) ch 10, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each remaining ch, skip 2 sts on row 9, sl st in next st, (for middle finger) ch 11, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each remaining ch, skip 2 sts on row 9, sl st in next st, (for first finger) ch 9, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each remaining ch, skip 1 st on row 9, sl st in last st, fasten off, weave in ends.

 

Glue magnet to to back of hand.

*gasp* I love it! Thanks so much for sharing! I have seen the foot fridgie around the net and made one for a friend of mine who just moved into his own place, now I can make him a hand to go with it. Will also probably make two for myself cause they would just look so great. Wonderful Pattern!!
