birthday gifts I received

Here are links to two gifts I received the other day for my birthday:

 

My mom crocheted this super-long blanket for me. It's a pale green (my blue and yellow and green checked blanket might be showing through). It's just a simple pattern of 5 dc, ch 1, repeat.
