Great Stash Building Day!!!

Went to 2 thrift stores today and ended up with 22 skeins of yarn at 50cents each! Also got some odds and ends of yarn at $1 per bag! I'm in yarn heaven...LOL!

I stopped at both the GW and SA yesterday and didn't find a thing. There was one completed afghan done that was in the most beautiful colors that I debated on buying to recycle, but I knew it would be more than I wanted to spend, and it would have been a shame to destroy what it was.

Wow that is a great deal! I would have got them all too, most likely. I never find that much yarn or yarn in good enough condition to buy at the price their offering.

I really lucked out. I've found the "mother lode" of yarn 2x this year. I go to Louisville at least once a month and I stop at a couple thrift stores then. Usually, nada but the other day was a good day! I got a lot of grey in various shades and that will be nice for the men's slippers I'm making some of my guys for Christmas. Christmas is sneaking up this year for sure.
