Chakra Purse CAL

I've seen a couple people say they aren't sure enough about their pattern reading abilities to tackle the Chakra Purse on the Caron website. So why don't we start a CAL for it?

 

I'm in just as soon as my local Hobby Lobby gets this yarn in stock this month!

I'd love to do this purse for my Mom, but there is no way I can find the proper yarn to use.

Actually, shopcaron.com does ship to Canada. I'm not sure how expensive shipping would be, though.

Thanks Amy - I checked into it and getting 3 balls (just in case) it would work out to $9 a ball, which isn't bad for a purse. So I will have to think about it.

Oh I like this, I do have some caron SS in light blue but I really need to finish some wips first.

Ok, I just printed the pattern but will have to hunt through my stash to see if I can use something else. I just can't come home with any more yarn, lol. I'm in the process of putting the swimming pool to bed and doing band booster business. So, I will get to it as soon as I can!

I like this too,but I'm trying to keep from buying yarn at the moment. I might try it with some of the yarn in my stash.

OK. I'm in on this. I have too much going on right now to join another CAL, but I printed this pattern off a few months ago and put it in my TO-DO pile. Since the opportunity is here to get and give support to do it, then it must be a "Sign from God" that I need to put it on my hook. I went to my local craft store today and got 2 skeins of the Naturally Caron Spa in the green color, the magnetic closure and even found cute buttons to cover the closure! More "Signs from God!" I'll try to get a hook freed up while we're lining up to start. I'm getting pretty excited. It's a beautiful pattern!
