April's Purple Passion Heart Square-UPDATED w/pattern

This is a square that I designed for a baby blanket that I'm making for my daughter's best friend. She's expecting her second baby late winter/early spring. I'm waiting on the sonogram results to see whether I need to offset it with yellow (girl) or blue (boy) heart squares as a second/accent color

Right now it's a 6 1/2" square, but I was thinking of adding one more row of double crochets to make it a little bigger and also to give it a "pinstripe" effect once the squares are sewn together.
