Sock pattern?

For my first pair of socks I used the Lion Brand Magic Stripes yarn and used the free pattern that was supplied on the label. I found it to be very easy to understand after I wrapped my head around turning the heel (my dense brains fault not the pattern).

Here is the free pattern at the Lion site

I love handknitted socks, but thought I could never make any because I cannot knit with 4 needles, and cannot do grafting. Then I found a pattern for 2-needle socks on Knitting Pattern Central and it couldn't have been easier. I have already made 2 pairs, and am planning many more. Maybe 4-needle socks are sleeker and more elegant, but these were so quick to knit, and such a good fit, and so comfortable - I would recommend that pattern to anyone who is scared of 4 needles.

You may want to check out the Magic Loop technique for knitting socks. It uses one circular needle and goes from the toe up. I'm currently knitting socks using this technique and it's really great. I believe the pattern is in the Magic Loop booklet.
