  1. If you haven't been watching this show, you should. The music is great but I can't believe how much crochet (mainly clothes) is used in the show. Check out the dress Juliette is wearing. http://www.possessionista.com/2012/10/nashville-fashion-juliettes-crochet-dress-from-i-cant-help-it.html
  2. check out this ripple beauty behind Molly Ringwald
  3. Love the Granny Square blanket on the back of Amy Farrah Fowler's sofa.
  4. Love the hexagon pattern you see in various places on the show (on bed here) http://crochetime.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/mikes-apartment-6.jpg
  5. Thank you for the link! Love those Placemats & coasters!
  6. those are great! I want that yarn! What is it and where did you find it????????
  7. I love my Knitpicks Options Nickel Plated needles for just about everything unless I'm using a very silky soft yarn on bigger needles for perhaps a scarf and then I want my bamboo or wood ones.
  8. Being a self taught knitter in the Continental Method I have found Kintting Help . com to be my go to source for explaining the correct way to do stitches here is the link to the video on the proper way to do the continental purl stitch http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/purl-stitch I never understood it till I followed along with the video. After lots of practice I can now purl this way without thinking about it.
  9. many years ago I bought a how to book and needles and tried to teach myself. of course the book was in English style and it just didn't click with my brain. About 3 years ago I found knittinghelp.com and it was all in the videos. I taught myself continental style first.
  10. Wow! That is beautiful! Way too far advanced for my skills but lovely to look at and dream.
  11. The question I always ask myself is, "If I'm happy doing what I love then why should I care what other people think of me or my craft?"
  12. Mary Jane, I bought your Positively Crochet last fall and it quickly became my favorite crochet book. I can't wait to get your Crochet That Fits. Thank you for writing such lovely books with great instructions.
  13. Stitch Diva has a wonderful tutorial. http://www.stitchdiva.com/custom.aspx?id=73
