Hi,

 

My name is Krystal and I need you wonderful ladie's help!

 

The Detroit Children's Hospital in Detroit, MI is in need of chemo caps and blankets for the kids. If anyone could possibly find the time to mail me a hat or a square, it would be greatly appreciated. any color is fine. and any yarn is fine as long as its not too scratchy, bald heads are sensitive! So if you think you could send me something please send me a pm and I will give you my address.

hello Kristal. I can make some hats too. Is CSS ok? I think it's soft enough, softer than RHSS.

You'll have to give me a couple weeks though. Just finishing up these first two weeks of April on some commitments I made. Then I can get to make a few caps.

What are the ages you are looking for?

Thanks 2kute! Whenever you can get them to me will be fine. This is going to be an ongoing thing so there's no time restrictions! CSS is great! and even RHSS softens up once you wash it. Really, we could use hats for any age from infant to teens. Whatever you prefer to make really! Just let me know when you're ready to send so I can keep an eye out for your package!

Charlene, I am looking for 12" squares, that way they can be assembled faster and easier by people who are just learning crochet.

PraiseJesus - yes this is an ongoing thing so you can send whenever you are able.

 

Marnie413 - pretty much any hat size should be acceptable. There a children from ages newborn to teens there.

Snowbird I recieved your hats today! They are beautiful and a lot more than I expected! I was thinking maybe 3 or 4 but when I opened your package, I just kept pulling out hat after hat until I had 8! Just so all you ladies can see the wonderful things snowbird sent here is a picture!
