Seeking Little Girls Cape Pattern

I am looking for a cape pattern for little girls. I would like one with a hood but I could figure out how to add that. By cape I mean a garment that opens in the front. I have noticed that many patterns that are refered to as capes look like ponchos to me!

I don't know if these will help, but I bookmarked two baby cape patterns. I'm not entirely certain how to go about sizing them up, but I'm sure it could be done.

There's several capes listed here. Maybe you can adapt an adult one for a child. You could use a smaller hook, less stitches & less rows to fit the size you need.
